Buddha at Kamakura

We went to the great Buddha at Kamakura yesterday and took lots of pictures. It was the first nice sunny day since I arrived. It's been cloudy and rainy. I found a wifi hotspot in my hotel room. So tonight I will post many more pics. Today we are going to Shinjuku for some shopping!

A nice profile shot of the great Buddha. I like how the clouds sort of looks like a halo around his head. A "must see" if you're ever in Japan. This is actually one of my favorite photos I took in Japan. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sunny day with blue skies.
